Firestone American Legion Donation
The American Legion Sam DiPaolo Post 1985 in Firestone, Colorado, recently presented Table of Hope with a cash donation in support of the Pantry’s Thanksgiving Dinner campaign. The donation will help the Pantry to reach their goal of providing 200 full Thanksgiving dinners to families needing food assistance in the community. Ric Payne, Commander, Bob Williams, Chaplain, and Sally Janich, Finance Officer, were on hand to formally present the donation to Pantry’s Executive Director, Sarah Beasley, and Donations Volunteer Diana Thompson.
The American Legion is the nation’s largest wartime veterans service organization. They are open to the public every Friday night for dinner, and for dancing to a live band on the third Saturday of each month. These events help support the Post as they focus on service to veterans, service members and their community. Table of Hope is grateful for their service and support!
